Summary: This report is the third in the Fraser Institute's Continental Energy Strategy for North America series. It provides a current and comprehensive overview of the electricity sector in Canada, the United States, and Mexico, and an assess ment of the required infrastructure development over the next decade. Market-driven development of the continent's energy resources and endowments can bring economic benefits to North Americans in the form of expanded employment opportunities and income, improved living standards, energy price stability, and greater security of energy supply.
