Summary: JSTOR is not a current issues database. It provides image and full-text online access to back issues of selected scholarly journals in history, economics, political science, demography, mathematics and other fields of the humanities and social sciences. Consult the online tables of contents for holdings, as coverage varies for each title. Includes full text of backfiles of more than 240 journals with coverage from volume 1 on, excluding latest 3-5 years. This gap, "the moving wall", is specified by publishers in their license agreements with JSTOR. In calculating the moving wall, the current, incomplete year is not counted.
