Amy Winehouse. An Unauthorized Tribute Volume 1

Summary: This documentary uses interviews and private moments from the life of Amy Winehouse, one of the best-selling female solo artists in musical history. This unique, never-released footage gives personal insight into why Winehouse touched the hearts of millions worldwide and how her groundbreaking influence is still felt by many artists today. Her career included a 2003 debut album, Frank, which was critically successful in the UK and was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Her 2006 follow-up album, Back to Black, led to six Grammy Award nominations and five wins, tying the then-record for the most wins by a female artist in a single night, and making Winehouse the first British female to win five Grammys, including three of the "Big Four": Best New Artist, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. This Winehouse tribute is not to be missed.
